UA1DZ Memorial Cup
The association of Saint-Petersburg radio amateurs (ALRS) invites radio amateurs worldwide to participate in the annual UA1DZ Memorial Cup.
Georgiy Rumyantsev UA1DZ (1937 - 1990) was a famous russian radio amateur, sportsman, winner of russian and international HF, VHF and ARDF contests.
1. Times
Friday, April 30, 2010, 15:00 UTC until 18:59 UTC (4 hours).
2. Bands and Modes
3.5, 7 and 14 MHz, CW and SSB.
3. Categories

Use of DX spotting nets is allowed in all categories. Band changes are allowed at any time with no limitations, but only one signal on the air is permitted at any time. For LOW Power categories output power shall not exceed 100 watts.
4. Exchange
A contest QSO can be made between any stations. Exchange consists of RS/RST and gridsquare, for example 599 JP61.
Stations from Saint-Petersburg (SP) and Leningradskaya oblast (LO) send RS/RST and their RDA district (see http://www.rdaward.org). Each station may be credited once per band and per mode.
5. Multiplier
For stations outside Saint-Petersburg and Leningradskaya oblast the multiplier is the number of SP and LO RDA districts irrespective of band.
For stations from Saint-Petersburg and Leningradskaya oblast the multiplier is the number of DXCC entities and russian oblasts on each band.
6. Scoring
1 point for each 100 kilometers of the distance between the stations. QSO with memorial station RM72DZ - 100 points.
The final score is the result of total QSOs on all bands multiplied by the sum of all multipliers.
7. Disqualification
Violation of the contest rules or unsportsmanlike conduct will be deemed sufficient cause for disqualification. The decisions of the contest committee are final.

ERMAK is Cabrillo v.3 extension for russian contests and it has equal tags (keywords) and QSO templates.
Contest name for LOG is ALRS-UA1DZ-CUP (CONTEST: ALRS-UA1DZ-CUP). Necessary tags are CONTEST, CALLSIGN, CATEGORY-OPERATOR, CATEGORY-MODE, CATEGORY-POWER, CATEGORY-OVERLAY (for JR category only), LOCATION (please put DX here!), EMAIL, NAME, ADDRESS and OPERATORS.
Please put the station callsign in the subject line of the message. Send your log only as attachment to message, do not put it in the message body. Server software will parse your log and will send the confirmation or errors list to your email address.
Hand-written logs:
Use logging program after contest. If you do not have a computer, please ask a friend or family member to import the log.

10. Criteria for UA1DZ memorial cup trophies
- Category winners will be awarded with cups.
- Second and third places in each category will be awarded with medals.
- Top-ten entrants in each category will be awarded with diplomas.
- All participants will be awarded with certificates.
