UA1DZ Memorial Cup
The association of Saint-Petersburg radio amateurs (ALRS) invites radio amateurs worldwide to participate in the annual UA1DZ Memorial Cup.
Georgiy Rumyantsev UA1DZ (1937 - 1990) was a famous russian radio amateur, sportsman, winner of russian and international HF, VHF and ARDF contests.
1. Times
Sunday, April 25, 2021, 13:00 UTC until 18:59 UTC (6 hours).
2. Bands and Modes
3.5, 7, 14, 21 and 28 MHz, CW and SSB.
3. Categories
- SINGLE-OP MIXED HIGH
- SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW
- SINGLE-OP CW HIGH
- SINGLE-OP CW LOW
- SINGLE-OP CW QRP
- SINGLE-OP SSB HIGH
- SINGLE-OP SSB LOW
- MULTI-OP MIXED HIGH
- SINGLE-OP MIXED LOW JR (1995 year of birth and younger)
Use of DX spotting nets is allowed in all categories.
Band changes are allowed at any time with no limitations, but only one signal on the air is permitted at any time.
For LOW Power categories output power shall not exceed 100 watts. For QRP Power categories output power shall not exceed 5 watts
4. Exchange
A contest QSO can be made between any stations. Exchange consists of RS/RST and gridsquare, for example 599 JP61.
Stations from Saint-Petersburg (SP) and Leningradskaya oblast (LO) send RS/RST and their RDA district (see http://www.rdaward.org). Each station may be credited once per band and per mode.
5. Multiplier
There is no multiplier for the stations outside Saint-Petersburg and Leningradskaya oblast.
6. Scoring
Every QSO counts as decimal logarithm of the distance between the stations, increased in 10 times and rounded to integer.
Every QSO with SP and LO station counts with additional 50 points.
Every QSO with memorial station counts with additional 100 points Please check memorial station callsign at the web-site just before contest.
Every new SP and LO RDA district irrespective of band and mode counts with additional 300 points.
The final score is the sum of all points counted.
7. Disqualification
Violation of the contest rules or unsportsmanlike conduct will be deemed sufficient cause for disqualification. The decisions of the contest committee are final.

Contest name for LOG is ALRS-UA1DZ-CUP (CONTEST: ALRS-UA1DZ-CUP).
Necessary tags are CONTEST, CALLSIGN, CATEGORY-OPERATOR, CATEGORY-MODE, CATEGORY-POWER, CATEGORY-OVERLAY (for JR category only), LOCATION (please put DX here!), EMAIL, NAME, ADDRESS and OPERATORS.
Please put the station callsign in the subject line of the message. Send your log only as attachment to message, do not put it in the message body. Server software will parse your log and will send the confirmation or errors list to your email address.
Hand-written logs:
Use logging program after contest. If you do not have a computer, please ask a friend or family member to import the log.
